Feasibility studies

Hifab has extensive experience of carrying out feasibility studies, often in technical assistance projects. Our services are usually recruited by financial institutions or donors. These are often preparatory studies, on which governments base their decisions concerning further investments. Such studies might guide the government in the viability of investing in the upgrading of roads or in implementing safe drinking water and solid waste disposal projects.

Bangladesh offers an example of such work, and the scope of the assignment on one project was to prepare feasibility studies and detailed engineering designs for upgrading an 800 km national highway. This was a project that would have a significant impact on the local economy.
